The quality of your references directly influences the quality of your videos. Here are some guidelines to get the best results.
What works well
- High-quality photography — professional or well-lit photos produce the best video scenes.
- Stylized or artistic shots — photos with character and personality tend to create more interesting video output than generic images.
- Multiple angles — different perspectives of the same room or space give the AI more to work with and result in more varied scenes.
What to avoid
- Generic stock-looking images — the more distinctive and authentic your photos are, the better the output.
- Very low resolution images — while Strana can work with most quality levels, extremely small or blurry images may limit the result.
How many references do you need?
The rule of thumb is one reference per scene. If you're creating a 10-scene video, having at least 10 different reference images is ideal.
That said, Strana can work with fewer references — the AI will make the most of whatever you provide. More references simply give us more options to create varied and compelling scenes.
